Using the Practice Board

    Start in a quiet place and let your dog investigate the securely positioned board without pressure.

  2. Reward a little touch

    If they already offer a paw, invite a gentle paw touch to the surface and reward it. Let the movement be voluntary.

  3. Practice in small moments

    Gradually reward a gentle scratching movement. Keep sessions short and stop if either of you becomes frustrated.
